New Resources Available for Entrepreneurs

Part of the Chamber of Commerce’s goal is to support and grow out local small business community. Thus, we are so excited to announce that the Forsyth County Public Library (FCPL) has a new resource to help navigate the challenges of getting a business off the ground. FC’s new Small Business Reference Center is an online database powered by EBSCO Information Services, a premium content and research provider. The database will provide local businesses with start-up kits and forms, demographic data and other valuable business resources.

The new FCPL’s resource database has publications and books such as Advertising Age, Journal of Small Business Strategy, Women in Business, The Complete Guide to Buying a Business and Legal Guide for Starting and Running a Small Business. With hundreds of options to choose from there is sure to be something to help answer any question an entrepreneur might have about starting a business.

Library cards are issued for free to residents of Forsyth County or business owners in Forsyth County, employees of Forsyth County government, and currently enrolled students or employees of any public or private educational institution in Forsyth County. Out-of-county library cards are also available for an annual fee.
